Jennifer Holt

Jennifer Holt is originally from Long Island, New York and has been teaching ballet in the DC Metro area for the last ten years. Jennifer has extensive training in the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum from Pre-Primary to Level 7. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and a doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland. Upon moving to the DC area, Jennifer danced with the Classical Repertory Dance Ensemble and trained with Miya Hisaka, Lila Seber, and Elizabeth Gaither, amongst others. Jennifer is incredibly passionate about sharing her love for dance with her students in an encouraging and caring environment. She enjoys utilizing her science background to help her students better understand and appreciate the mechanics behind the movement. Jennifer is excited to be an integral part of the Lasley Centre community.
