An introduction to basic tap vocabulary (shuffles, flaps, paddle n rolls, riffs), with a strong focus on developing good tap technique. Students will also begin to learn historical tap pieces (Shim-Sham, Coles Stroll) that will help them gain an understanding of the importance of timing and musicality.
*Students enrolled in Tap III must purchase Black Capezio Cadence Tap Shoe for classes. Dancing at this more advanced level requires more support in their shoes.

Offering dance classes in many genres, the Lasley Centre is convenient to Prince William County (Bristow, Haymarket, Gainesville, Manassas, and Nokesville areas) and Fauquier County (Warrenton, Bealeton, Marshall, and Remington areas). We also have students who come from Culpeper and surrounding areas.
